Everything was luxurious from the bed linens to the room decor. The hallways were pleasant to walk in and guests were relaxed and pleasantly conversational as a result. The robin blue egg walls in bathroom. Silhouttes painted on the elevator doors. Shower cap in room.

The price we paid is more than I typically pay for a room rate. I paid it because my wife wanted to stay at the Galvez. The hotel was being remodeled but that wasn’t seen in the room rates. I traveled a great deal for business before I retired. The hotel Galvez will be quite nice once the remodel is completed.

We enjoyed our stay. Very pretty and comfortable. Food was good. Even though the pool was packed the bartenders kept their cool and were very attentive. They did a great job for being only 4 of them in such a small area. The girls at the pool bar, Destiny, Birdie, Karleigh, and Kylie, are great workers. The valet service was very good too.

The valet manager (im guessing) was so amazing and friendly. He called us by name every time he seen us and was so awesome. The room was nice and comfy. Check out, the lady was so friendly and the staff for the hotel was so nice to us. We stayed 4 nights total.

This hotel's beauty was exceptional. From the moment you walk in the front door, you can tell that the historic beauty of this hotel really shines. There is detail in the care of this hotel everywhere you look, from the carpets and floors to the detailed wall patterns. The history and wonder of this hotel is super. The location to the beach as well as restaurants and attractions is perfect. The pool and fitness areas were wonderful as well. Being there on a weekday helped make the price managable, but would've paid full price for the experience. Great getaway from Houston to celebrate!

Love the pool! The new lobby and restaurant/bar areas are just magical. The view from the front lobby is a beautiful view of the ocean and boardwalk. Such a beautiful, peaceful, fun, indulgent place. This is our go to vacation spot!
